Whirlpool - Washer Is Piece Of Crap
Centennial HE MODMVWC300VW0 - Complaint
POMPTON PLAINS, NEW JERSEY -- I first week I owned this machine it malfunctioned. Sensor kept clicking but never started. Repair man showed me the control. It was a cheap plastic switch. One year later almost had a flood when the control for water level malfunctioned. Instead of individual parts and switches this company put in a "mother board". Instead of replacing the water level switch the control board must be replaced. This board costs more than I paid for the machine. Obviously the company must be making a fortune on us consumers when it is cheaper to replace a machine than to fix it. I have purchased many "Whirlpool" appliances over the years and am appalled at the level to which they have stooped.
My advice to anyone considering buying new ---repair your old one. At least it is probably not made of plastic.
