Jeld Wen - Product And Customer Service Is Horrible
OHIO -- I purchased a patio door with a built in dog door, the bracket that holds the flap to the door broke, the door is not even a year old. I had to call 7 times SO FAR and all I got back was a phone call on a Saturday at 7am (and didn't get to the phone before it went to voicemail)--all to get a message from Tammy that says sorry you have to go on line and buy a new door, when I tried to immediately call back, I got their sorry call back M-F 8-5pm Again this was the 7th phone call to get a .50 cent part. A NEW DOOR--AND LIKE I WOULD EVER GO ON LINE AND BUY ANOTHER 600$ DOOR BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A .50 CENT REPLACEMENT PART--IN THE MEAN TIME I HAVE A HUGE HOLE IN MY BACK DOOR!!!
SUPPOSE YOU WANT ME TO INSTALL THAT NEW DOOR TOO. SO AS YOU CAN SEE $600 JELD WEN DOOR THAT LAST LESS THAN ONE YEAR AND ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY--AND TO MAKE IT WORSE THEY DON'T CARE
