Hair salon @ Walmart - Definitely a Bad Experience
VERO BEACH, FLORIDA -- I went in with hair half way down my back, asked for long layers and for it to be shaped up. I told her I can't stand hair on my face, wanted to keep the length and be able to pull it back or up if I wanted.
I told the girl she was cutting it wrong, (it looked like she had been cutting with pinking shears). I ended up with straggles of what hair remained long and the top looked like a bowl had been put over it. I told her even a razor cut shag would have been better and was not sure what I could do to get it straightened out. Needless to say, I DID NOT PAY, ( oh and she wanted to take a picture of it - after the fact) went to a salon I had frequented before, and now have hair that does not even reach my shoulders and of course bangs. If anyone has gone from extremely short to long, you know I have a growing out cut.
My 4 year old granddaughter has been known to get hold of the the scissors and cut her own hair. Believe me it looks better than the cut I got from a so called professional.
We expect that if they hold a license, they should be able to handle a simple cut and we should not get a butch job! Let me also say, I was the first in the salon that morning and had also talked to the girl on a previous occasion about what I wanted and was expecting.
