Sprint PCS - Poor Equipment, Poor Phone Service, Poor Internet Service and Ripoff Billing
Customer Service - Complaint
OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS -- I cancelled my Sprint wireless service in July of 2013 because my phone rarely had service of any kind.
Sprint said it was because towers had been damaged in the June 2012 derecho storm a year earlier. There is no physical evidence that this is true and service was no better prior to this weather event.
In addition to this one of our phones ceased to function and Sprint offered no help beyond telling me to go to their local customer service center where they "might" attempt a repair or sell me a new phone at full price.
When I cancelled my service Sprint told me there would be a charge of $150.00 for early termination and that they would send me a statement in that amount. They never sent a final statement until I received a notice that my account was going to a collection agency in 7 days...and they billed me for $329.00. They offered no reason for this. I had always paid on time and did pay the final amount in full, but if the treatment I received was their version of "customer service" I'd recommend avoiding this company.
