Ashley Furniture - Poor Customer Service
Corporate and Local Store - Complaint
JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- I recently made a purchase and before it was even delivered, tried to make a change to purchase by calling store. Store employees said my sales person was off for the next two days and no one else could help me (huh, I bet they could if I wanted to buy something). I waited for a salesperson to return, but by that time purchased had shipped to locale warehouse.
They wanted a 25% restocking and he couldn't even add what 25% was from the one piece I wanted to change. Actually, it came to be 40% of the one piece. Told him to keep it and shove restocking fee. Called corporate and they don't do anything but tell you they are independently owned and you need to contact local store. If that's the case, then why do you have a corporate office. Ashley Furniture customer service is as bad as AT&Ts. They SUCK!
