Larrabee's - Unethical

LITTLETON, COLORADO -- This furniture store employs unethical salespeople (at least the one we dealt with is), and the manager/owner is even worse. They gave us a "special deal" on a dining set but switched the type of chairs we ordered on the paperwork. We aren't furniture specialists, so we didn't realize that this wasn't the same chair model we actually sat in and specifically stated we wanted (times 6--so we have SIX chairs we did not originally want). The brand was the same, but the chairs were different, and the prices were definitely different.

In fact, when we were signing it, I specifically asked the saleswoman if these were the same chairs we decided on, and she said yes, they were. The chairs we received weren't even in the salesroom, so I don't know how we could have agreed to this. When we emailed the saleswoman to say that these were not the same chairs we wanted, she said it was a "special package pricing by the owner/manager" and that we signed it--and it seems to us that she (and the manager/owner) knew all along what was going on. They outright LIED. Her email response to me basically clinches that fact.

In addition, they charge $250 to deliver less than a mile and pushed us into a warranty. Given the outcome of this sale, we thankfully purchased the rest of our furniture elsewhere or will be doing so in the coming weeks. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

You do realize you have the option to sue them in small claims court don't you?
