American Family Video Complaint - BAD SERVICE - video rentals
CAMAS, WASHINGTON -- My husband and I had rented three movies from American Family Video in Camas, Washington, and it was the worst service.
I sent my husband up the day of the movie return date and he dropped them off in the box. Two days later I get a call that one of the movies was not returned. I called and informed them that they were all returned in the box. I was told to come down and resolve the problem. We went down to ask them about the issue. They just kept telling us to look in the car. Finally I just told them that they should look in my car. After 10 minutes of hearing that it was my fault and they would not check the box again I was mad. I asked were the manager was and told to call the next day.
The next day I called the manager and she told me that none of her employees ever lost a movie and it had to be our fault. It would be 15.99 to replace the movie and would have to be fixed that week. When I asked her what happens if her employees screwed up? She informed me that it never happened and I was just keeping the movie.
I had rented probably 10 movies from this company, and had returned all of my movies on time. When I informed her of my good customer service she said she did not care.
I would just like to inform the people of Camas to get their videos elsewhere. They may just decided they want a certain movie and charge you for it. To top it off they told me that I was not allowed to close my account. I am waiting for a call that I had not returned another movie.
