CALIFORNIA -- My system just blacked out--no signal. I did everything that is recommended: disconnect, wait five minutes, reconnect, et. I called up the number offered. A very courteous woman asked me several questions--I was on the phone for about an hour. She determined that my Dish equipment was unworkable. Then began the horror: They would mail the equipment in five days! Yes, mail it in five days. I said that was unacceptable. Finally she said it would be mailed by UPS and received the day after the weekend (I called on Sunday; that meant delivery Monday). Then she said there was no service man to connect the replaced equipment; I would have to do it myself....
We pay almost $2000.00 a year for full service, and they cannot send a service person to replace a defective part. That is an outrage. We are discontinuing this company and do not recommend anyone respond to their false offers of good service. There is absolutely none.
