Hotels.com - Made One Reservation, Got Charged For Two
Hotel Reservations - Complaint
DALLAS, TEXAS -- On Sept 6, 3013 after receiving a hurried call to attend a funeral in Atlanta Ga, I made a reservation with Hotels.com for the second leg of my trip. When my computer alerted me that my reservation was not complete, I called the phone number listed and spoke with Ryan who assured me that he would fix the problem. I printed the page to show the hotel clerk the Itinerary number. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the Wingate by Wyndham hotel and discovered that I had two reservations instead of one. I spent the next three days trying to get the problem resolved while talking with Cathy, Shaundra, and Margie. I finally got to talk to Cindy who told me she would have one of her managers call the hotel manager to authorize the refund of $417.51 and gave me a reference number.
After then, she said, I should call my bank to check on it. All of the representatives were nice, but the problem remains. I checked out of the hotel on Sept 14, 2013 and it is now Sept 28..
