PARAMUS, NEW JERSEY -- I purchased a leather power reclining chair in January of 2013 to replace furniture that was damaged as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The first chair that was delivered was defective. It was replaced after I called and complained. I recently noticed deep grooves in the wall behind my reclining chair. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the corners of the chair up by the head were damaged and there was metal protruding from the leather where it was torn.
I called customer care and they sent a technician out, he inspected the chair and reported that it was not a manufacturers issue and that there was no recourse offered because I had not purchased their infamous goof proof. I am now out of 599.00 dollars with an inoperable chair!!!!!
