Nextel/Sprint Complaint - Stay away from Nextel
SARASOTA, FLORIDA -- Up until 6 weeks ago my Nextel phone and my husband's cell phones worked ok. Now we have dropped calls, voice mails received the next day, we can't direct connect each other and the calls have static.
My husband and a very major health emergency 3 weeks ago and was rushed to the hospital. We need to stay in touch or he may also need to call for emergency service. I have called Nextel at least 6 times regarding the service. I told them I wanted my contract cancelled and did not want to pay $400 cancellation fee. I need a phone service that I can rely on.
I have been given all types of excuses as to why are phones don't work and why my husband's phone was out of service for 18 hours at home. A "ticket" was supposed to be done last week for my home to see why we don't get calls. As of yesterday nothing had been done.
I was told the only way we can cancel our contract is if we find someone to take the account or if the account owner dies. I asked them if my husband can't get the help he needs because of their terrible serve and send them the death certificate will they cancel the contract? The reply - only if the death certificate is legitimate. Customer Care?????? What a bunch of moronic, idiotic, uncaring robots they have working there. Try to find a heart in anyone of them.
