Wal-Mart Complaint - Symphonic 19
MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT -- I waited in line for 1 and a half hours to purchase this television for $84 the day after Thanksgiving. This was to be a gift for my 2 children for Christmas. After approximately 3 hours of use the television set sparked and went blank. It was a piece of junk. I was unable to find my original sales slip ( Visa), since I had no intentions of ever returning this television, and the store co-manager Lori was only able to give me a store credit. I did not need a store credti and wanted this to be applied against my visa balance.I stated that I was a regular shopper at their store and that I would not be returning. She did not care.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I think that Walmart is being greedy. They want me to spend my $84 at their store. They do not offer a comparable television set for that price as this was one time offer. I am very disappointed with their customer service and now I will not be able to buy a television for my 2 children for Christmas. There were other stores that offered the $84 television set on that day and I specifically decided to buy at Walmart. I think that Lori (co-manager) made some bad decisions in her treatment of my problem. It wasn't like I was looking for cash. I would like Walmart to make me whole for my time and effort and to offer me $100 in gift certificates or I will forever be a Target Customer.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
