AT&T Wireless - Terrible and Unhelpful Customer Service
COLORADO -- A little over 3 months ago I upgraded my phone to an LG Optimus G. I have always been happy with LG until yesterday when I was on the phone and the caller on the other end of my phone ceased to hear me. I went to our local AT&T Store and was told that I needed to replace the phone and that meant that I had the choice of driving 4 hours or waiting a few days for a replacement to be sent by common carrier. They were not able to authorize a replacement at the A T&T store.
I needed a phone and ended up paying full price on a new phone because AT&T customer service was not "allowed" to reverse the upgrade of the defective phone and help me in the way that I needed. I was on hold for about 30 minutes and currently on hold waiting for their warranty department to work with me. Terrible!
