No News and No Customer Service from Patch.com
Local manager/ Corporate - Complaint
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I moved from NY to PA one year ago. I attempted to cancel my NY subscription and switch to two PA Patch newsletters. I did this via email and ended up receiving no Patch newsletters at all and unable to get Patch to fix the problem. I gave up for a bit and then tried again. I ended up working with a regional manager for the past few months. He couldn't help with his resources. Supposedly, a new system was rolled out a few days ago and I was asked to sign up through that. I tried and only got messages saying the email address was already registered. It doesn't matter how many times I update the settings (settings say I should be receiving the newsletters, however I get nothing). No, they are not in spam or any other alternate email box.
I decided to call corporate and amazingly, there is not a soul that I can speak with about the issue. Really? The person I spoke with wants me to send an email to the same support folks who messed this up in the first place. I'm not doing that. I asked for the President's office. He isn't allowed to connect me. The VP's office. He isn't allowed to connect me. Executive complaint? Doesn't seem to exist at Patch. He is telling me what he was told. Let me talk to the person (his supervisor) who told him I couldn't talk to anyone else. Nope, can't talk to him/her either. I can leave my name and number and someone will call me back. Of course, I do not believe that will happen.
It seems I am not worth having as a Patch customer. Yeah, I know, why did I put the effort into this for a year. I now know it is not worth it. Customer service is not their forte.
