Dish Network - Dayton Ohio - Service
DAYTON OHIO, OHIO -- I order Dish Network on 9/17/2013 and they took 22.05 from credit card and 19.99 from checking - fine for all that! Ok I get a bill in October for $22.05 and I pay October and Novembers bill of $22.05 and pay them $44.10 so my bill for Dec hasn't came in so I call Nov 26, 2013 and so HBO Showtime Cinemax and they try too sell me 8 channel a month for $5.00 a month for 9 months. I say know just keep my bill $22.05 and I get a email today November 30, 2013 for $78.98.
I call them and ask why and they say that I went over the 3 months with HBO, Cinemax Showtime. I ask them how is that if you called on November 26, 2013 and cancelled all that - they say the billing cycle starts on the November 28. I say I called on November 26 to cancel all the movie channels and it would be $22.05 with the $10.00 off for the first year, but you ordered 8 channels for $5.00 on your bill that is why your bill is $28.00 a month. Well how is that you order 8 channels for $5.00 you said you don't advertise for that on TV so you say I haven't had service with for 3 months, it will be 3 months on the 19 of December when the guy came out and installed in on September 19, 2013. So how can you charge me for something that is not been 3 months.
To this day I say it has been 2 months and maybe a 11 days. I just don't see how they can charge for something that hasn't been 90 days of service with them and saying I went over the 3 months. When I ask them that they just keep saying it will be on your next bill not this one!
They clearly see what I'm saying, but just don't want to say they were wrong! I will be going back to Time Warner.
