Adelphia Complaint - HUGE Complaint-Adelphia
FONTANA, CALIFORNIA -- I have been a longtime Adelphia customer. My service was cut off because of your carelessness.
My check is dated on March 26th. The check shows my account number & Adelphia has no record of my payment that cleared April 5th. I have a copy of the front and back of the check, which I presented, to the Fontana office. There was no courtesy call before the service was disconnected. Now because this is your fault not mine, I have to suffer with no service.
When I called your customer service line, people were of no use to me. And the second time I called, someone actually hung up on me. You should teach your staff to deal with problems instead of running away. The only nice person I encountered was Shawn who was the Floor Lead. The least you can do is to apologize and give me a free month of service. If you do not attempt to make this right, I will tell every single person I know about your ignorance.
When the service was turned on, no one had the courtesy to call and apologize for your shortcomings. I even e-mailed customer service and received a silly response which stated that Adelphia would be happy to reconnect service at no cost to me. Turning on my service at no cost is the only moral thing to do because Adelphia was at fault not me. Learning to make customers your #1 priority is the most important thing.
You will be happy to know, that you have lost a longtime customer due to your irresponsible behavior.
