great customer service/very clean room - Compliment
SULFUR, LOUISIANA -- Went to lake charles LA for a little gambling weekend.paid for two nights at motel 6 hell..stayed the first night..what a horrible night after driving 6 hours..office staff rude at check in.hurricane victims still living there after almost a year..shady people living outside their front door..10pm kids screaming and yelling outside my front door..called front desk and was very polite in my complaint..women screamed at me saying she did not have any control of guest and precided to slam phone dowm in my ear..next morning a friend went to get money back for the next night, i could not, i would have ripped her head off..830am called the fabulous La Quinta..was told they had 1 room handicaped and i explained the situation of the night in hell..was told could come on down and did not have to wait for noon check-in..got there and stff was sooo friendly.. got into the room and received call to see if everything was to my satisfaction.went gambling for a while, got back to room for a nap...was called at 10 pm to see if i would moved to another room because a handicap guest did not relay her disability until arrival..i told them it would not be a problem just give me time to pack up..went to front desk and staff was very greatful for my accommidation..and would comp the room to me.(she knew that i was sleeping).even without the room comp or the handicap situation i would still have moved to another room because they saved me from motel hell..la quinta in sulfur la is an awsome place to stay...

I stayed in a LaQuinta in Huntsville, AL a few weeks back - the motel was in the process of being updated - it was looking a little tired. But like you, I was impressed with their staff - they were all cheery and helpful and made what would have been an OK stay into a really good one.

La Quinta actually means "country house" or a villa.
