Renton mitsubishi Complaint - Pushy and rude dealer

Review by marius on 2006-05-03
RENTON, WASHINGTON -- I saw a car advertised online at this dealership. I sent them an email to enquire about the price (we only have certain budget). The next day, a dealer rang wanting me to see the car. He refused to tell me the price and in an extremely persuasive manner invited me to see the car. From the pushy tone and the fact that I did't even know the cost of the car, I was not interested to go to this dealership and bought some other car elsewhere. A couple of days later, this same salesman rang to ask about my interest to the car. I told him I've already bought a car, he then pursued interrogating me about what kind of car I bought, why i bought this car, etc, all in a rude manner. I am glad I did not buy a car from this place.

Beware of this dealer. I once bought a new car from Renton Mitsubishi and before I signed the paper I looked over the the bill of sale and found some unknown couple of thousand of dollars were being added to the bill. I told the lady and she said it was a mistake and she retyped the bill. After I signed the paper I went home and checked the bill again and saw that she snuck in a thousand dollars some place else on the bill. I went back to the dealer to ask them about it and they refused talk to me and gave me the run around. Suffice to say that since that experience I have never bought another car from a dealer again.

Any time a dealer refuses to tell you the price, it's because they're trying to pull one on you. They want to bury a bunch of extras in the purchase invoice that you did not ask for, but that they get big commissions for. YOU DID THE RIGHT THING by shopping elsewhere!
