State Farm Insurance Complaint - Not very customer service orientated
CANTON, GEORGIA -- I had requested via email that my electronic draft for my car insurance be stopped for November of this year forward as that account as I had moved to NY and could not access that checking account. I was told to send in writing a letter stating such, which I did plus sent in the Nov's amount due. After numerous emails with State Farm in GA the problem is still not resolved and as I have just found out the draft for November was not stopped which overdrew that account. Now Regions Bank has turned me over for collections and all that. I have requested that State Farm correct this problem with Regions Bank but I have been told basically it is my problem that I made. I have also been informed (which I was never told about when I signed up for the electronic draft) that I owe 2 months. I do NOT think so.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I want State Farm to contact Regions Bank (all located in Canton, GA) and correct the problem with them. What needs to happen is the draft needs to be credited back and then I will pay only December's bill. I have paid November in good faith and will continue to do once this issue is resolved. If not I will proceed with looking for another auto insurance carrier.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
