Fairfield Inn by Mariott Williams Complaint - Hotel Rip Off - Fairfield Inn

Review by valholiday on 2006-05-11
WILLIAMS, ARIZONA -- On March 23, 2006 I purchased two nights through Priceline (Confirmation #82106835/Hotel Request #302-862-471-02) The two nights purchased were March 28 & 29, 2006; checking out on March 30.

I arrived one night early and paid for the night of March 27, 2006 at the front desk with American Express. On the morning of March 28 I called the front desk to request the same room for the Priceline nights, this was granted.

On MArch 30, 2006 we vacated the room and left for home.

When my American Express statement arrived I noted the expected charge from Priceline, but Fairfield Inn had charged me for the nights of the 27, 28, 29, & 30th!

When I called the hotel I first spoke with Bradley who told me I had to deal with Priceline, when I told him the billing for the night of the 30th had nothing to do with Priceline he hung up on me.

I called back and Bettey answered the phone and said she was the manager and that she had just arrived. She took my information and siad she would get back to me.

The second issue is construction, construction debris, and unsafe conditions at the hotel. When we entered and exited the hotel doors near our room we were forced to navigate large piles of construction debris. Most of the carpeting in the stairwells and hallways were half taked down creating a severe hazard. A request for another room was denied because the hotel was "full"
