Piaa Corporation Complaint - Piaa Xtreme White Bulb

Review by wht_halo@hotmail.com on 2001-12-06
GOLETA, CALIFORNIA -- I bought some PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs, and they are supposed to be the closest color yet to H.I.D. (High Intensity Discharge).
I just want to say that the bulbs aren't even close in color to H.I.D. The 168 wedge bulbs are a nice blue. The 9006 headlight bulbs are not close to white or H.I.D. They are tinted yellow.

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

I would like some replacement bulbs in which I was originally looking for. I wanted some bulbs that have a bright white color yet tinted a slight blue, not a solid blue or an off-white tinted yellow.

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.

I have these bulbs and I'm very satisfied with the light output. After all, what can you really expect from a bulb with a filament that costs $60/pair versus true HID lights that require their own power supply to pass a current through a sealed gas pressurized tube that costs $1000.
