Albertson's Complaint - Disgust and Disbelief

Review by fmlymail@aol.com on 2001-12-07
OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- I have never really been a big fan of Albertson's until I recently found your Seafood Department. However, upon my last trip to your store (last night) on NW Expressway in Oklahoma City, I needed to pick up a few things that I normally would not get at your store. I wandered in to your beauty section and what did I find? KMS, Framesi and Sebastian Professional Haircare Products. As an area supervisor for the largest Beauty Salon Chain I can assure you that the product companies that are represented on your shelves have not given you their authorization to sell their products. Professional beauty products are just that, professional. I can guarantee you that your buyers know this and didn't care. They just wanted to make money. Is that all that Albertson's is about?

I have already contacted the legal departments of these Professional Beauty Product Manufacturer's and rest assured that they will be contacting your corporate offices soon enough.

I have no choice but to wonder, if you would buy outdated (all were in old packaging, some of them several years old), counterfeit or stolen beauty products, why should I think you wouldn't do the same with my prescription medicine, over the counter medicines, or even my food?

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

I will never shop in your store again until I find that Albertson's no longer carries these types of products. I have also started a campaign among my employee's that instructs them to tell every customer that they come in contact with not to shop at Albertson's. I can only hope that your greed and lust for the dollar will make up for what I hope to be a great customer shortage.

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.

It is awful for Albertson's to carry "contracted" beauty products that are suppose to be in Salons. It is definetly wrong and they should be fined! I would assume they have taken those products off the shelf to save their reputation.

Considering that I know a little more than you probably do about how Albertson's buys its merchandise, I'm pretty sure that by now you've discovered the opposite of what you wrote is true.

Since you claim to know so much pf-can't win - why such childish, ignorant remarks to everyone's comments. Get out, go find yourself a site with dungeons and dragons or something. You are not wanted here!

someone must own a beauty salon. no one wants to spend 10.00 for a bottle of shampoo, that you can get at alb. for 5.00.

I really think that the manufacturer happily wanted Albertsons to carry their products.
