Terrible, worst and they suck on every aspect.

SUNNYVALE, FLORIDA -- Let me start by saying that I've used this dreaded company for over 5 years now, (was just complacent to find someone else, thought why fix it when it ain't broken). So here it is these guys suck @ whatever they do.

Recent Experience : Tried to send money a week back and lo and behold they wanted all kinds of new information starting with my income (Don't know how that matters), year's of stay in remitting county(Again doesn't matter), sex, occupation etc ..(All immaterial) and finally driver's license # (Intrustion of privacy) and here is the fun part that they want a scanned copy of it. Now I try uploading it almost every format they accept and unable to do it and keep getting error message of incorrect file format. So as a regular use I write to 'em 'bout it(I include a copy of my license and a screenshot of the error message) and they send a response of 48hrs time to fix it(also that I communicate with them using the registered email) and then respond stating they are trying to contact me on my phone # and it goes into voice mail and that I need to provide a working #(This seemed retarded as they could leave me a voice message but didn't understand why though), so I replied back to 'em stating why do you even need to talk to me as you ask me to communicate thru the mail and also that you have a copy of my driver's license and the screenshot and why don't you just upload it yourself in the background and save me the trouble. I even called and spoke with some Jerk who was a condescending F$ck why didn't have a clue on what I was talking(Guess they don't put notes) and so after I explain the whole ordeal his response was that I have to upload the needed document in order to proceed when I was trying to tell him that I'm unable to upload and hence I was calling and still he insisted on me trying to do it again (Which I've tried multiple times and failed), I kinda got tired of speaking to him after realizing it's they don't understand the sense of urgency as he didn't even offer to give me a solution or put me to his supervisor and then I hung up asking them not to call me ever. Next I get a response to my email a fourth time from the same guy "Augustine Lobo" saying "We regret the delay in our response and the inconvenience.We are following up on your case with the appropriate team and shall update you at the earliest. Your patience and trust in us would be highly appreciated." I realized they copy and paste pre determined responses, nobody absolutely cares or has a clue when you call 'em as you have to repeat the whole issue again, and the person who replies to the email probably is instructed to keep buying time. What I didn't understand was ....

  1. They have a copy of the required document (Emailed it twice as attachments 2 diff ones.)
  2. common sense made me think can he/she get with a supervisor or IT dept and just upload that rather than asking me keep trying to upload it inspite of me getting an error message.
  3. Not one time I got a feeling that I as a loyal customer was not appreciated for my business, apologized to for their incompetence an lack of internal communication.
  4. It's been a week and they don't seem to get the sense of urgency that a customer is trying to send money overseas and it could be for a medical emergency, some dire need, a family catastrophe and all we are doin' is asking the customer to wait and keep buying time.

Afer all this I looked up online for remit3India's reviews and saw a 2 star and understood that the company sucks on every aspect, Customer service is terrible, no escalation of any sort. I had to write this detailed reveiw so that another person doens't get blinded and brainwashed in using their services.

I hate to Give 1 star as they don't deservce even that and there is nothing worse to give 'em. They are a bunch of F$cking useless ar$ehole Sc%mbags who are getting paid to dilly dally, pass on the buck and repeat their non helping responses and make you run from pillar to post. Please do youself a favour and use other services like remitly etc .... who actually give you a better rate and faster deposit time and better customer service.

INDIA -- Worst service. If you have enough time to deal with them go for it and Keep begging for your money.

TEXAS -- I booked a wire transfer to India from USA, transferred the money to their US account. After receiving the money they cancelled the transaction to India. I requested a refund but I am still waiting (more than 2 week) to get the money back. They are promising to deposit the money to Indian account in just 2 days but the fact that they need more than 2 days to respond to an e-mail. So just imagine how long it will take to complete the actual money transfer to INDIA. They are holding my $5000 for the last two week. DON'T believe them! They will cheat you for sure. Please stay back.

CANADA -- Sorry I could not rate this 0 star. Remit2India doesn't deserve 1 star.

I sent my money on August 2nd and today is August 20th, and I still don't have the money debited in my Indian account. Customer care sucks big time! They don't have an answer and after putting on hold for over 20 minutes, they abruptly cut the call. Once the agent by the name Rous cut my call like this and on calling again the call was routed to him. I threatened him that this call is recorded and going to youtube. That is when he answered promptly. Again today I am waiting in the call for over 40 minutes and the lady that answered my call cut it after putting on hold for more than 15 minutes. I sware, if I find the person who owns it I will spit on his face. Is this how they are earning money and feeding their family? They can better do some other things.
Remit2India asked me to send the screen shot of my bank account and since there is no option left I did. Even after this no response in email or in call (calls are cut after being put on long hold ). One of the biggest nightmare of my life! This company looks fraudulent.

CALIFORNIA -- When I booked transaction with remit2India (customer id : 2666522)transfer rate USD to INR was showing as 74.1 INR, so I was little impressed with rate as it was 10-15 paisa higher than others. So chosen remit2India. I socked see that they transferred money to India account with rate of 73.1 after deducting money from my USA account. Many time I have taken follow-up, but they didn't resolve this issue and didn't return me the difference amount. remit2India seems a big cheater they showing some thing on webpage but given some thing else. I am in USA from long time and using other remittance house but never faced such issue. They are only showing higher rate on website just for interacting the customers, but actually they are giving lessor rate than others. This the another way of making fool to customers. Be should away from such cheaters !!!!

HARRISON, ARKANSAS -- I initiated a money transfer to my India account on July 22, 2019. This was supposed to reach my account before the end of the month. They asked for identification documents, which I provided immediately. It's been more than 15 days, the transaction is still pending and they are not responding to my calls or emails. This is one pathetic way to dealing with customers. I missed a loan payment due to this.

Pathetic, They closed my transaction and didn't even inform me. I kept waiting. Moreover after 20 days when am trying to send money again, my account got locked. What crap!!

US - I used Remit2India twice to send money to India. It was quick and easy process. As it was my first time I was scared to take risk of sending a huge amount online. But thanks to the customer care service, they answered my all queries. Once the money was transferred to the account of the person you get a notification.

Absolutely horrendous. These guys are running a circus. Poor response on emails. Funds are stuck for over a week. Absolutely contradictory answers from escalation manager and info@r2i. Incredibly awful customer service. Transfer was initiated over a week ago. Your nonsense business ethics do not understand why a customer initiate and Situation. Biggest problem same bunch of incapable staff members reads and the emails and responds and this never goes to people who build this company. And they will only find out and realize when this operation will shut down.
