Hertfordshire County Council Complaint - The State of Our Roads

Review by Harrycichy on 2006-05-23
Hertfordshire & the roads & pavements are in a dreadfull state of repair. Pot Holes,Broken Pavements,Broken and missing Kerb Stones are to be seen all over Hertfordshire in particular were I live in Hemel Hempstead. The repairs are done in what seems a crisis management way. In many situations they create a danger and a Health and safety issue. Enough is Enough you take our money. Know do the job, we pay you to do and stop passing the 'BUCK'. Repair our roads! Have you a Pot hole near you? I would like to Know. Please tell me Harry Cichy, Hertfordshire England.

Welcome to the emerging third-world future of America. Declining infrastructure, non-responsive officials, corruption and deceit commonplace...what's not to love.

He's talking about the UK Doc. The streets in my little part of America are spectacular and our kerbstones would take your breath away.

I agree Hugh. But in our area, each citizen does his best to take care of his own surroundings. If some guy just tosses trash, we neighbors let him know we don't like to look at his mess. But as Harry said in his previous post, he can't do anything because he's 'to' busy 'complaing.'

Thanks Hugh-Not that I feel better, knowing the UK has the same as we.
