Steel Seal Works I Am Amazed

FAIRVIEW, OREGON -- My truck was running rough at idle steam and water coming out the tailpipe water in oil and exhaust smell in rad and high pressure in cooling system. I ordered steel seal, followed the directions, pulled the thermostat and put the product in. Started the engine and in ten minutes no steam or rough idle. Took for a half hour drive at hwy speed and let cool for an hour and did the same drive again.

Ended leaving in the engine for two weeks before putting the thermostat back in and flushing and filling with the antifreeze. They said to use truck is running great engine light off. That is telling me that no water or anti freeze passing the oxy sensor in the exhaust, no water loss at all. The stuff works. Tried other stuff no luck. If you think you have a crack or head gasket problem give it a try. What you got to lose?

Terrible Product

I purchased this product and used exactly as instructions directed. Not only did it not work, I later received a call from the company when I was told by the Chemist that not only would this product ABSOLUTELY NOT WORK WITH ANTI-FREEZE (like instructions say to do) that it would cause it to turn into a GEL INSIDE THE VEHICLE ENGINE. So not only did the product not work they have potentially caused additional damage to my vehicle. He also said he has been trying for months to get the company to change the instructions on the label because the product will not work as directed.

Steel Seal Head Gasket Repair Product

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA -- Something was wrong with my car and I found out by asking a friend of mine who is a mechanic that I had a blown head gasket. I know such a problem like this should be figured out in an instant, but I am not a car guy. In fact, I know absolutely nothing about cars other than they have four wheels! Anyway, my friend who is a mechanic recommended Steel Seal. Of course I decided to give it a try because the sealant would be a lot cheaper than having the entire thing replaced.

At first I was hesitant about trying the product by after speaking with a company representative, I was more optimistic about my experience. Plus, the man even said he would give me a full refund if the product didn't work. With that promise in mind, I had my friend apply the sealant. I am happy to say the product fixed the head gasket and my car runs perfectly fine. I called the company back to tell them about my experience.

Steal Seal Works Sometimes

I used Steel Seal following the directions to the T and it work good for me up until about 3 months ago when I noticed the white smoke coming from my car again. So I watched it for a bit to see how much water I lost then last night I emailed Steal Seal and asked for them to send me the Steal Seal Elite. It's a stronger version of Steel Seal but I guess they don't have the rights to it anymore. So I just asked for my money back and within half an hour my money was back in my PayPal. So everybody that says they've had problems getting money back they didn't give me a crap at all. I will be buying Steel Seal Elite now. It's a better product if Steal Seal didn't work for you.

Lord Help You if You Buy It

HELTONVILLE, INDIANA -- I bought Steel Seal. It did not work so I called support. They told me what I needed but they give me a number to text and tell them what to send. I will not say her name but she would send me what I just had and wasted all that time and money to do what they wanted. I was told they sent me the wrong stuff so I waited for the mail to come and she sent me the same stuff that did not work the first time so I text her.

She told me it was different and if I did not want to try it send it back. I just spent $100 on it so I took snapshot of it sent it to her. She will not answer anymore. She takes it on her own to decide what you need. She does not even listen to her own support. Why are they even there. She does what she wants and that is it. Thank you. Have a good day.

Steel Seal - Outrageously Bad

100% instructions followed and complied, car expansion tanks and all pipes turned to thick gel using Steel Seal.
Immediately had to suck out thick gel from expansion tank and also remove panels to get access to take off radiator hoses. Had to be seriously blasted with a water hose to remove solidified items from the hose and engine block. Heater pipe had to be pressurised to remove clogging. This took all afternoon till 9 pm. Then tomorrow got to do the same to ensure all the solidified gell is removed. Don't risk your car doing the same, avoid the product. If you dare risk product then make sure you can strip down vehicle immediately if required. Even then risk is very high.

I used Steel Seal in my Stag engine. It stopped the leak, blow the head gaskets and blocked all of the waterways in both the block and the heads. When I called Steel Seal, they said would send a refund but they never did.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- I love this stuff! I can honestly say even though it's a total band-aid, it saved me thousands of dollars. I have a 1997 Camry and it's held up for almost 4 months now. If it does not work for you, then you don't know how to follow directions. User error is not Steel Seal's fault.
