IRock - FID Complaint - IRock mp3 players

Review by jymmi on 2006-06-02
SCHRAUMBERG, ILLINOIS -- Avoid the iRock, First International Digital products. Very poor customner service and relations. This also applies to Canadians, avoid buying anything made in the USA.

I purchased an iRock 520 mp3 player. Started to have problems, got a hold of service department in Illinois, returned it to company, was told it was ok. Suppose to be returned, but I have not seen it for over a year now. When you talk to them, they tell you what you want to hear, but disregard your concerns.

You want Canadians to boycott ALL US goods because you got a crappy MP3 player? Talk about overkill.

I have concern for Canadians if they follow the poster's advice, "What will they do for health care?" I'm a lumberjack and that's okay...

Doc J - According to American Journal of Public Health Canadians are healthier than Americans. They gave silly reasons like universal health care but I think its because our per capita high fructose corn sweetener intake is higher. I can’t back that up though – I’m probably wrong.

I read the same piece. Many Canadians, tired of waiting for their socialist medical system to spit out an appointment for needed care simply come to the USA for advanced care. If I were Canadian, I'd strive to be healthier too. Of course, my knowledge of Canada is incomplete. The only ones I know of that visit there...1) the Queen, and 2) illiterate sport fishermen.

Really, one bad MP3 and Canada should boycott all American goods?. What if we said the same? Come to think of it, what exactly do you guys make north of the border there?
