eBay Complaint - Unfair Practices and Unspoken Affillations
I've had some disturbing issues with e-bay lately and I'm not alone. They have completely automated the majority of their systems and eliminated telephone support altogether. My husband posted his 'love' for me to bid on as a romantic gesture, and they suspended me, without any warning for 'shill' bidding. They have shown that they don't actually read consumer complaints and have only automated responses. Even their 'live online help' is so scripted, it's completely useless. I know of thousands of listings being pulled (without refunding the listing costs, naturally) for no good reason at all - it's all a technical error; and while all this is happening, they are sending me e-mails encouraging me to bid on e-bay - when my account is suspended. I expect to see a dramatic decrease in e-bay stock in the very near future, as buyers and sellers pull out.
