Gateway Complaint -
SEARCY, ARKANSAS -- I bought a Gateway computer in August of 2000. For the first six months, my computer was perfect, it could do no wrong and i never had any trouble from it. From January of 2001 until now, i have had nothing but trouble. I put it into a Gateway store for service when it first began to fail and it was kept there for 6 weeks and when i got it back, it was supposed to be like new, they had erased everything and reinstalled my windows. The computer did not work correctly then and even messes up now. I recently reinstalled windows 98, AGAIN and yet i am still having continual problems with it. I feel as though i was given a lemon computer and I am severely dissapointed in the quality of my Gateway. I had heard only good things about the product but now regret the purchase. I have complained to Gateway and was treated very poorly.
I wish none of this had ever occured, but it did, and now i ask that this be looked into so that future customers do not have to go through what i have.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
