DISHTV Complaint - FORGET DISH TV - HDTV CUSTOMER SERVICE

I switched from DirectTV to DISHTV about six months ago. The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. DishTV is marketing this High Definition receiver that has a software bug that they cannot fix. You cannot keep a satellite signal consistent on this receiver for more than a few days. Dish TV customer service is terrible. When you get an English speaking rep, which is rare, they give you every excuse in the world as to why they can't fix the problem - then gladly offer to charge you for an upgrade to a reciever that actually works. Forget DISHTV!

DISH? DirectTV? DirectTV? DISH? Oh, I don't know...read a book...you know...those thingys with, like um, pages an' stuff. Find 'em free...at most libraries.

Pirate errr Stew errr Pirate: Rats I get you two mixed up and gee I wonder why. Since you and your alter ego "Stew" miss the concept of cynicism (in addition to other complex logical mechanisisms) let me explain. It doesn't matter "DISH or DirectTV" both are equally mediorcre and one can find posts opposing or supporting either. So, "Pirate" go dip an ice cream cone. I think we're all on to the Stew/Pirate routine.
