PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON -- Once again FTD has let me down!! I ordered flowers for my friend's funeral service today, I get an email this morning saying they could not deliver due to NO driver, they called in sick. REALLY!!! Get another way to deliver. I am so upset over this right now and very sad as well. I thought with it being ordered on the obituary page it would be good to go. Nope FTD has failed again! I sure hope I get the refund without a big issue, Not to mention the women I spoke to was rude and had no good excuse of why they could not get the flowers to the service over to sent them to her home. ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!

If you can't deliver to the church why can you deliver to her home... She isn't home!!! Goodness. FTD IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO ORDER FLOWERS. Be careful ordering off the obituary site... Waiting for refund it was taken the day I ordered... Let's see if they can handle that without fail!!!

Arrangement Delivered Was Certainly Not What I Ordered

NEW HAMPSHIRE -- The floral arrangement that was delivered on Mother's Day was certainly not the lush beautiful arrangement I ordered and paid for on the FTD website. I sent FTD an email of this complaint and I never received a callback or email response. I then called customer service the following day, May 15th and I was told the arrangement would be redelivered on the 16th.

Today is the 17th, the arrangement has not been delivered and when I call customer service they have not record that the arrangement would be redelivered. They also told me it was up to the florist whether they would redeliver. I am disgusted at this point, both at the arrangement delivered and the way FTD is handling/resolving this problem. I will NEVER use FTD again. Next time I will call a local florist myself.

FTD Sucks

NAITIONWIDE -- Three days before my uncle's viewing I went online and ordered flowers from FTD to be delivered to the funeral home. I was 1500 miles away and could not be at the service. With service charges the order totaled almost $200.00 which was charged to my card immediately. I got a confirmation email but the next day got another email saying that the local florist rejected the order. The email had a link which I assumed would explain why the order was rejected and what my options were. I was wrong. The link just took me to the main FTD site.

I called the 800 number and spent 25 minutes on the phone with a pleasant, English-speaking woman who explained that the florist didn't have the flowers necessary to complete the arrangement that I picked and she could help me pick something that was available. I went online and went over item by item with her to see what the florist would have. Everything looked great. Plenty of time for the order to be delivered. I slept well that night.

Next morning, got an email from FDT that order was rejected by local florist. One day before service called 800 number. Had to tell entire story from scratch to the pleasant, English-speaking woman who would personally call the florist to find out what was available and could be delivered on time.

7:00 PM get email from FTD that order has been rejected by local florist. After very irate phone conversation with woman in Bombay, I am told that she will call local florist first thing in morning and demand that he deliver something appropriate in time for the service.

Called 800 number at time of service. Spent 30 minutes with different woman in Bombay to determine that flowers were not delivered. Order was rejected by local florist. These people are incredibly incompetent. A system which allows a sale to be made on items not available is unbelievable. A system which allows the "local florist" to reject order after order with no reason or explanation is incomprehensible.

Horrible Experience

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I recently ordered a "Blooming Azalea Bonsai Tree" through FTD for my mother-in-law (on Mother's Day this year), as she lives out of state. Although the FTD website advised that the tree may not be in the bloom stage upon delivery (rather, it may arrive in the "bud" stage for freshness purposes), the FTD website promised a healthy bonsai tree that would bloom twice a year. Instead, my mother-in-law received a bug infested bonsai with zero buds upon delivery and zero buds nearly a month later.

To add insult to injury, the tree is now losing leaves and "sprouting" even more tiny insects -- no doubt the product of a unhealthy plant to start with... oh and the other zero to add to this story... that's exactly how many responses I have received from FTD after numerous requests that FTD either return my nearly $100 payment (which includes the delivery charge), or replace the deficient plant with a healthy bonsai.

This experience explains the plethora of poor reviews I am now discovering online when it comes to FTD's product and so-called customer service. With the multitude of options in regard to online florists/delivery, I advise anybody that is considering purchasing anything from FTD in the future to NOT do so, as you will likely be disappointed; rather, go with a reputable local establishment, as it/they are much more likely to deliver a better product, thereby avoiding the FTD FLEECE I experienced.

Exceptionally Awful and Horrible

DOWNERS GROVE, CALIFORNIA -- I would rate FTD a zero for all review sites I encounter. FTD is the absolute worst company and I will never, ever, ever order anything from FTD ever again for as long as I live. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day (5/13/18) to be delivered on Fri (5/11//18). Later on Fri 511/18, FTD confirmed the delivery, however, the flowers were not delivered. The next day Sat. FTD sends an email indicating that the delivery could not be met and the absolute best that they could do is deliver the flowers a day after Mother's Day on 5/14/18.

FTD is completely incompetent and I will go out of my way to ensure that upper management knows how crappy FTD is since this is not the first time my delivery was missed by more than 2 days. I want to make FTD management aware of my complaint so that they can fire the incompetent people and replace them with robots. At least robots are trainable! I am so disgusted with FTD. Don't ever order from FTD - they are too incompetent and stupid to get anything done correctly.

The flowers that I sent to my girlfriend never made it, even though an email was sent to me stating that they were! Customer service in the Philippines and cannot provide a solid answer to any question or can help whatsoever. Remember, FTD IS NOT A FLORIST!!! All they do is send out fax orders to a florist close to the address you are sending the flowers to and hope that one of them answers their fax or completes the delivery.

All local florists HATE these guys because they lowball the heck out of them. Also, local florists are NOT required to complete an order. If they are busy, they WON'T fulfill the order. If that happens, the order then gets sent to the next guy, etc., etc. FTD is a total joke. Call a local florist!!! You'll get better service, speak to someone who is IN the store, and the quality of flowers will be greatly increased.

FTD Did Not Deliver Flowers on Valentines Day! Girlfriend Was Home and They Had Her Cell# for Delivery Issues

WEST HAVEN, CONNECTICUT -- Simple. I ordered flowers for valentines day and FTD didn't deliver them! They were ordered well in advance and I used their online tracking beginning at noon today to track delivery. I called them at 8 pm and was told by a non-English speaking person that they had been delivered. At 9 pm another non-English speaking person called me and said that the florist was closed and that they would not be delivering the flowers (which I was told were delivered) today and they would do it tomorrow.

Valentine's Day flowers delivered on February 15th? WOW. I hope 95 year old Mrs. ** husband got his casket spray in time for the funeral or maybe they should dig him up tomorrow and let FTD deliver the flowers when they have time!

Did Not Get What I Ordered

Ordered flowers for someone in a nursing home in another state. The web ad clearly states it is delivery by a florist and I was charged extra for the delivery, etc. It came in a box via UPS from heaven knows where, all beat up, half frozen, and wilted, of course nursing home staff is not going to deal with it... nor can the 98 year old recipient unpack things, etc., that is why I paid extra for it to come in a vase from a florist.

Took me 3 tries to get a response and now they offer me a $20 coupon for the next order, although they offer a money-back guarantee. What a ripoff. I wrote to the CEO but I do not expect to get an answer. Next time I will find a local florist in that town and order directly from them.

I ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered to a CEO who had passed away. The night before of delivery I received a email stating there was an issue and they could not reach me by phone. I never received a phone call. I called 7:00 am Wednesday morning, spoke with a representative and the issue was in the colors of the flowers. We worked it out.

Friday morning the day after the funeral, I received an email "We regret to inform you that, despite our best efforts, we were unable to complete the delivery of your order due to the time constraints of the funeral service. We apologize for the notification of this inconvenience via e-mail, but we were unable to reach you at the phone number provided." THEY NEVER CALLED ME! AGAIN.

I called them Friday morning and the representative now says "oh we don't have a store in the area!" Well your email says something totally different. NEVER, NEVER USE FTD AGAIN. This was my first time and I am one and done. Oh the representative did ask if I wanted to send a plant to the home of the deceased. UUGGHH - I really wanted to tell her where to put her plant. But I did not.

A Flowerless Service for a 27 Year Old!

BREMERTON, WASHINGTON -- I ordered a beautiful $100+ flower arrangement for a dear family friend who died way too young. The family doesn't have a lot of money so I knew they would need a nice centerpiece for the service. I don't ordered on a Friday morning and the service was Sunday. They listed Saturday as a choice so I picked it. They automatically entered all the funeral homes information for me because it was on their website. It was on the obituary a button that said "send flowers for "their name" service".

What a lie! I could have ordered flowers from anywhere but I figured they were the best bet on getting there. But no I pushed the button and FTD flowers failed to deliver. They didn't even let me know until I called a day after telling them I was looking at pictures online of the service with no flowers! Then they said "ohh ya they couldn't deliver on Saturday". Then why list it? They will never be able to make this up.
