Subway-Bluffton Road-Waynedale Complaint - Very POOR Customer Service Skills
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA -- Yesterday, June 23, my two year grandson and I made a visit to Subway here in Fort Wayne on the Bluffton Road. I put in the order 6" BMT, 1 roast beef sandwich (for grandson) and 2 bags of regular chips. Unfortunately, upon leaving I did not check my order as is my regular routine. When we got home I found that no chips had been included and that they had given me a kids meal which included a strip of candy that is quite chokeable for a little child -(why I don't order them) and a hawaiian punch. I called the store and asked to talk to the manager. He got on the phone and I told him what had ocurred. He said he remembered that I had taken a long time to put in my order and if I wanted to I could come back and pick up the chips!! He also informed me he had no intention of giving me anything else because it was not their fault the order was wrong??!!! I then asked for the name of the owner of the store and he said if I wanted to complain I could call the number on the napkin with the order. I have to say over the years customer service has really gotten bad but this guy had reached a new low. So, I called the number on the napkin and was told by the "customer care" person that she would send an email to the owner of the store. So far, I haven't heard from him and as is quite apparent I am not holding my breath!!! In the past two weeks I have gotten three wrong orders at fast food restaurants on the Bluffton Road here in Fort Wayne. Long John Silvers, Arby's and the star of stars Subway. Of the three, Long John Silvers immediately said to come in whenever I wanted and get a complete new meal on them--full of apology. Arby's did the same-no questions asked. And then we have SUBWAY. Guess where I won't ever go again??!!!
