BUENA PARK, CALIFORNIA -- eBay seller complaint sent via email 29 June 2022 – to a complaint site online - ** - & The Hissing Kitty Website, & Mythreecents.com, also as BELO. I'm legally blind & type in all caps so I can read & edit content, such as a message to a seller that just ripped me off, crafty little sob - after telling him what I thought about his little scheme, I told him his ** should fall off & his hands go stiff, etc. -

Product is great - not the seller - he's not the only 1 on eBay selling it, but he's what I used today 29 June 2022 - to my chagrin & dismay & I won't be using him, again. eBay item # ** 'Anti-Icky Poo', sold for pet stains, etc, in gallon jug size - seller = 'Next-Store-1' - LISTED price $5.11 presumably for a gallon, since a gallon jug of it was pictured - & I ONLY WANTED 2 SINGLE GALLON JUGS, NOT 2 CASES -

Order #** - estimated delivery 11-15 July 2022 - I put '2' in the qty box, thinking I'm ordering 2 jugs - right ... & yes, I read the listing, which doesn't say if it's a jug or a case price - it ends up jug price, but sneakily 1 ends up buying at least 1 case at a minimum total - cunning little 'b'. Listing didn't show a case of 4 or other - listing didn't say 'X jugs in Y cases are agreed on' 'cause I wouldn't have done that - I don't need that much at one time - I'm not a company or pro office cleaner - I'm a retiree - I use it at home, but not this much -

One gallon lasts me a couple months, & it works on several kinds of organic stains - I sent him a not so happy message right after the order was complete - good thing the stuff doesn't rot in the jug - it has a good shelf life. I don't think I've bought from this idiot before - most sellers on eBay are open, forthright, honest & up front - not this guy - I told him he pulled an old fashioned 'good one', meaning fast move designed to relieve the customer of more than they planned to spend - I hope his business fails, but I didn't say that.

I hope eBay puts him off the site - but trying to file a claim on eBay is next to impossible, as they don't have a 'category' for shyster rip off prices - how interesting - not ok. What also wasn't said in the eBay listing is that I was getting X qty of case{s} of it, since the total sale was $110.14+ x 1 that ended up $102.22 {as if I got a better deal}, even though I bought 2 of whatever qty it is {I ordered what I thought was 2 gallons that would have been about a dozen bucks, total}, was a lot more that I didn't expect but saw total once the sale was complete - total sale clued me in & it's too late by that time, which the seller knows well.

I thought I only bought 2 x 1 gallon jugs, & nowhere did the listing say it was cases of the stuff on sale, & not individual jugs - 2 cases is different than 2 jugs by a long shot - ** got me good. So, instead of about 12 bucks for 2 gallons, I guess it's 2 cases of 4 gallons each or something like that - 12 x 4 = 48 & twice that is 96 - so it must be $100+ that by rough estimate. Yeh, the per jug price is good, but I didn't want God knows how many jugs in who knows how many cases - neither is specified on the so-called 'invoice', that you see after the order is complete, & I can't print anything, right now.

He crafted the listing well enough to catch me & I'm usually savvy about eBay listings & most eBay vendors are actually open & honest in their listings. I am legally blind, but I don't think that was the problem - I'm pretty sure, as I told him in email, that he knew exactly what he was doing {to make a bigger sale that a buyer might not see coming}.

It's the way the seller listed the product that made me believe I was buying single jugs - he knew exactly what he was doing - he crafted the listing to make $$$ dishonestly - & gouging me by more or less forcing me to buy way more jugs than I wanted - I sent him email via eBay & called him a cheat & a shyster, among a few other choice words - most of them clean but I did say something to the effect I hope his ** falls off - I didn't ask for a stop sale or a refund, as I wanted at least a couple jugs to use, now, dammit.

I use eBay as I can't drive because I'm blind enough that they won't give me a driver's license - so I get much of my supplies online & usually from eBay - that way, I only pay Paypal & I don't have to deal with my info at *** number of vendors, which helps the security effort - most vendors on eBay that I use are honest & straightforward - they are not doing a fast buck game like the guy above - I want this guy off eBay & out of business - or to have a serious attack of guilty conscience & a desire to reform his ways as God wants from him - I'm assuming I'm not the 1st 'victim' for this yahoo, as well, so eBay should want him elsewhere.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I made 2 orders March 30 and was supposed to be delivered by April 6 needless to say it's April 13 and no items. I emailed the seller Tashion172 and the seller stated it should arrive soon be patient and asked that I close the case because it will make they store look bad and has responded to nothing else. I escalate the problem to eBay for them to tell me I have to wait until April 21 before they will step in. I can't call anyone and customer service doesn't respond and now they just have my money tied up and there is nothing I can do about it. This was my first and last time buying from eBay I should not have to wait this long for my package the seller was misleading with the dates it will arrive. I could have ordered from Amazon and know I would have gotten my package by now. I only did eBay due to shipment time EBay sucks and I'll make sure ever I let everyone know DO NOT SHOP EBAY and I better have my money soon I no longer want the items if could give both the seller and eBay a 0 I would but unfortunately that's not an option

SAN JOSE, MICHIGAN -- EBay is guilty of Gang Stalking former Sellers and Critics like Charles Fitch, by allowing spokesman and top rated seller Hubcapjoes to bully and harass and defame former sellers outside eBay.com and threaten their workplace. Gang Stalking is a covert way to Target an individual for harm by using a team of people to spy on them in their community to relay information back to the source in this case eBay and Seller Hubcapjoes. It's also a systemic form of control and bullying which seeks to destroy every aspect of a targeted Individual's life, and it's being used by eBay right now on eBay Critics like eBayisajoke to ruin his life and make him look dangerous to the community. eBay seller Hubcapjoes has posted abusive things about former sellers on his website chuckfitchscammer.com and on his twitter page @reportbullies to stalk and intimidate eBayisajoke. He has also placed him on his local news and makes daily vlog videos exposing the critic's home address and workplace and making videos about his workplace telling people to call there and file fake reports on the union worker's job.

Hubcapjoes is also guilty of abusing the elderly and using his supporters to file false online claims such as ripoff reports about the critics. A former car seller Doc's Quality Cars is also displayed on the offshore website of the top rated seller Hubcapjoes where they accuse Doc of rolling back odometers and selling stolen vehicles. The abuse continues because eBay refuses to take action on the seller. Brian Burke Director of Community Relations at eBay refuses to remove the seller because they love it when their sellers abuse their critics.

Ebay Sellers Beware
StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarEmpty StarBy -
Rating: 1/51

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- I have been an Ebay Seller since 2002. Ebay makes all of their money from the fees they charge sellers, yet they favor buyers who may or may not be truthful about their complaint. They don't have a good system in place to verify that a buyer's complaint is legitimate. They will always side with the Buyer, i.e. if the Buyer says it, it must be true!!?? Ebay won't even allow sellers to leave negative or even neutral feedback on a buyer's account, yet will allow buyers to leave negative feedback on a seller's account, even if it is unwarranted. Ebay makes about $1100/mo in fees off of my seller's account and yet provided me no protection whatsoever when I had the misfortune of a dishonest buyer who purchased one of my new items and returns it used, claimed the item was not as described when it was most definitely accurately described, and then returned the item for a full refund plus $35 in shipping costs both ways. Ebay stepped in and took control of the return process as soon as the buyer made a complaint and issued the buyer a return label, then charged my account for the shipping charges. Ebay didn't even communicate with me about this until after the return had already been processed and my account charged, and did not provide me with any kind of tracking number so that I knew what was going on. In addition, the return address that Ebay provided on the shipping label was incorrect, so the package was not returned to me, but to some other address. When I received an email that the package had been returned and my account charged, I called Ebay to inquire about the location of my package, since I knew that I hadn't received it. I was told that it was delivered to a different address an hour away from my house and that I would be responsible for retrieving my package, AND that Ebay would not cover me for the value of the package, if I wasn't successful in retrieving the package. The Ebay representative told me that I should consider it "the cost of doing business," i.e. write it off as a business loss, since I have a business account. No apology, no concern over the loss of my package, just detest for bothering them with my problem, and rudely telling me to just "suck it up." I was told during my initial call to Ebay about this whole ordeal that I would be allowed to go through an appeals process once I received the package back, and that I would be able to inspect the package before issuing the buyer a refund. However, that didn't turn out to be the case at all. Ebay again just took control and went ahead and refunded the buyer for the full amount once tracking confirmation showed the package had been delivered....to the wrong house...without having a chance to inspect the package. For all I know, there's a big rock in the package and the buyer kept the items I sent, valued at over $200. And when I called to initiate the appeals process after the return, they said I would not be able to do an appeals process because the package was delivered to the wrong address. So let me get this straight, Ebay. You only took the buyer's word about the complaint while completely ignoring my input, even though I have 100% positive from many, many transactions and the buyer has a grand total of 3 feedbacks on her account, then took control of my return, charged me for it, didn't provide me with the tracking number, shipped the package to the wrong address, shipped the package uninsured and without signature confirmation, will require me to drive an hour to go knock on some stranger's door and ask if they have my package, won't cover me for the value of the package should I be unsuccessful in retrieving it, lied to me about being able to do an appeal, lied to me about being able to inspect the package before issuing the buyer a refund, all while charging me $1100/mo in fees for their kind services? No thanks Ebay!! I have had my fill of your company and the lack of support your provide to sellers. I don't pay $1100/mo in Ebay fees to be dumped on like this. There are other options for sellers out there and I will be moving over to Amazon, and closing my Ebay account. Goodbye $1100/mo in revenue, which is a drop in the bucket compared to how much they make from sellers collectively, so I'm sure they don't care. BTW, Ebay has increased their fees 200% since I started selling on Ebay in 2002. Amazons fees are much more reasonable. To current sellers on Ebay: proceed at your own risk because if this happens to you, good luck trying to get any recourse from Ebay! They couldn't care less about you as a seller....and don't forget, "it's just the cost of doing business" when they screw up and charge you for it.

No Seller Protection

SEDONA, ARIZONA -- eBay doesn't protect sellers for sure. I have 100% positive feedback. I have 2 stories that I'd like to share. Last year, my wife and I were moving out of state and we listed a ton of things on eBay, along with other outlets, to help pay for our moving expenses. I listed an old Nintendo DS system, well two of them, with a load of games I had for years. I clearly stated "No Returns" on our listing.

The set sold for about $130 dollars to someone who had just opened an account and had no feedback. Shortly after my items got there, the buyer asked for a refund because he said one of the hinges were broke on the DS I sold him. I knew that was completely false. I even stated to him that I didn't do refunds and that DS hinge was perfectly fine when I shipped it out. It was even packed in its original box.

Detecting a possible scam, I immediately called eBay to inform them that I thought I was getting scammed. Told them everything and they said that it looked to be the case. Well, I guess it didn't matter. The buyer got nasty with me in messages after I told him I contacted eBay about this and I called him a scam artist. A couple of days later, he got his refund. Just to add, I never received the stuff back either. Nothing.

So, not only did he get his money back, he kept my stuff as well. eBay didn't do a damn thing to protect me. This guy basically created his account 5 minutes before he bid on my stuff and I have over 300 feedback and they take his side. Then do not make sure he sends me my stuff back? Really? eBay used to be a damn good place to sell stuff. It was fair. I don't know what is going on with them now.

For the last occurrence, I just had another buyer who created their account moments before bidding, outbid a real buyer with real feedback, not pay for the item they bid on. BTW, this was the first time since the last time I got ripped off by eBay and a scam buyer, that I listed stuff. I couldn't leave feedback and couldn't leave a rating for the no payment buyer.

WTF is eBay doing these days?? So, the buyer screws me out of a sale, makes me wait a week before I can list it again, all the while not answering my polite messages asking for payment, and I can't tell others to watch out for this particular person? What a joke. Maybe eBay is in on the scam? Who knows. Needless to say, I am done with eBay. Anyone else know of a auction style site that actually protects its sellers as well as buyers? Thanks.

FLORIDA -- I listed a few items of which you never get charged for listing. They just took a 12.3% or something close to this amount commission on a sale. Well I went into today to see if I sold anything and lo and behold...I didn't sell anything but I owe eBay $84.00 just for putting my items on their site. Since when did they start charging seller fees, does not say that anywhere on their website that they charge other than commission.?? Needless to say I will not pay them one dime as it's a SCAM but also please people do not list anything as you too will get a shock and not sell a thing anything at that.

Absolutely the worst customers service!

1950, CALIFORNIA -- Absolutely the worst customers service! As a seller I was calling to question the new practice of charging my customers sales tax since I am in a state that does not have sales tax. The first person I spoke to was "Glenn" he could give me much information other than a standardized speech so I asked to speak to a supervisor.

"Peter" the supervisor go on the line with me. He was horrible to say the least. He spoke over the top of me, he was condensing and rude! I simply wanted to know who and when this tax issues was mandated. "Peter" went all around the issue and finally gave me the answer I was looking for...mandated by the Supreme court, only he couldn't say Supreme Court.. He said Supreme Ruler.

In his speech all around the issue he told me he knew what he was talking about and that I would need to get the details from my state tax expert (I live in Oregon and we do not have sales tax). When I pointed this fact out to him he got even more condescending towards me. As a seller, as a user, and as a 70 year old woman I resent my treatment by Ebay customer service. I may move over to Amazon in the future for my sales as I will not stand for this abuse from a company I do business with!

EBAY does not protect the seller. They did not care about the actual situation and that the buyer LIED! They did not review my listing or correspondence in order to make a fair and reasonable decision. They simple gave the buyer the refund and I have to pay the return shipping for an item that was advertised clearly and correctly. EBAY SUCKS. If you are a seller, find another place to do your business. EBAY will screw you over. Oh - I forgot to mention I am a 20 yr member and the buyer they ruled for opened their account in May. Interesting, huh?
