Charter Communications Complaint - E-payment - Online e-payment/billing
MINNESOTA -- Charter offered to make your payments online. I do this all the time with other bills and decided one month to make my payment online. Charter has a negative consent process. When you make a payment online, you are forced, without being told up front, into NOT getting paper bills. If you happen to read all of the emails they send you, it is buried in one of the emails - that does not come with Charter as the first word in it. I get so much garbage from Charter in advertising - I did not read it. They then charge me a late fee because I didn't pay my bill - that I did not receive. I haven't gone to the attorney general yet - but it seems to me that if they are doing this to a number of their customers, they probably have yet one more class action coming their way. I have sent in multiple emails to their 'Contact us' site with absolutely no response - no call, nothing!
