I paid for the listing, filled out the paperwork, and returned it as requested. My home was listed improperly on several sites. Owner.com's response was for me to contact the sites directly. The sites were pulling the info off of the data entered by Owners.com. The responsiveness was non-existent most of the time. When they did respond, it rarely addressed the actual question(s) I asked.

They removed my phone number from the listing and listed a realtor's number instead. That person, Dana **, was 'my' realtor who listed the property (or something like that). Again, very poor responsiveness and indirect answers. In the end, my home sold while listing only through Owners.com. Since then, I've used www.ForSaleByOwner.com. The latter site was MUCH better than Owners.com. Good grief and good riddance.

Horrible Customer Service

At first filling out forms and getting the lockbox was extremely simple & I was very pleased. When I had a potential buyer it was no hassle to list property as contingent. Then when that sale fell through all hell broke loose. I submitted a request to relist the property as active on MLS site & I subsequently updated my Owners.com page as Active. I did not realize that they never sent my request to the MLS agent. So Owners.com showed an active house to over 30 potential buyers but their agent would've seen this listed as Contingent, thereby all those potential buyers Skipped over my property.

When I realized it I complained loudly. They did have a supervisor email me to apologize, but that did no good. There was no offer to fix the situation. Next I attempted to lower the price & increase commission to garner new interest since I missed out on Active status. I completed the DocuSign papers & returned promptly. I never received DocuSign confirmation & after 6 emails to Owners.com they said it was complete the same day.

I contacted a local real estate agent & asked them to search my property on MLS site & nothing had been changed. I could've rented my home 6 months ago but tried to sell instead. I should've saved the money & just rented it instead. There is 0 customer service with this site & wish I could give negative star review.

Negative Review of Owners.com MLS Listing Service

VIRGINIA, VIRGINIA -- I paid almost $400.00 to get an MLS listing for our home in VA. It took many more weeks to wait for it to be posted and this was after inquiring several times. It did finally get listed and they include a "listing agents name and email address in the listing". But, if you click onto this email address and inquire about the listing you never hear back. I tried this several times and had three other people attempt to inquire. But, they never heard back.

Then after several emails to the agent (and I never heard back) I inquired with Owners.com. They told me that in VA while there is a listing agent noted with a link to their email address it was not a part of the MLS package we purchased. So, anyone who goes to our listing and tries to get more information will never hear back.

I'm sure they will say that this was in the long list of items on their extensive list, but I want to know why they included a "Realtors email address" on the MLS link if they never respond. I give this service a 0 on a 5 point scale. With "O" being never consider using this service.

Owners.com is fraud.

VARIOUS, UTAH -- Don't use them. We paid our money, but could not find our MLS listing on the internet. When we contacted them, their email stated: I have never known any MLS to allow members of the public to search the MLS agents belong to. I am thinking perhaps we are looking at two different sites. We never were able to see our listing on an MLS site by searching, but they sent us an MLS number and link that enabled us to see pictures of our home, but the site was not something the general public could see. We did not receive even one call as a result of purchasing their service, but received over 50 calls from our FSBO listing. They are fraud. Don't use them.

Read All the FAQ's Especially Their Refund Policy

Read the Refund completely... If you buy one of the packages that puts your listing on the MLS - BE AWARE. It states that you have 60 days to complete the listing. It then goes on to state that if your home is listed on the MLS that the 7-day waiver for a full refund is null and void. I.E. If you finish your listing in three days (hypothetical) and then on the 6th day you call and want your refund - forget it if it is already listed on the MLS.

It is a deceitful way of wording in my opinion (the 7 day period is only if you don't finish your listing and post it in that time). And by the way this operation is offshore in the Philippines... If I had known that at first I would have never used them. Buyer beware, and due diligence. Also many of the appropriate items don't transfer over to the MLS at all of incorrectly if they do.

WYOMING -- I purchased an MLS package which was to include the affiliation posting with Realtor.com and Trulia. After 11 days without being issued an MLS and no posting whatsoever on Realtor.com or Trulia, I began making calls and sending emails. Not one response. I was put on hold for up to 17 minutes and when I demanded to speak to a supervisor, I was given Wayne's phone number and when he answered, I think I woke him up. When I explained the problem, Wayne's flippant response was "...so what do you want me to do about it?"

The arrogance is astonishing and I recommend you stay far away from this product. If I don't receive a full refund, then I will pursue legal action against this company because they did not do what they advertised and I lost 11 days of market time.

What a waste of time @ Owners.com

SAN FRANCISCO, LOUISIANA -- Five days ago, I signed up for 30-day trial listing including uploading photo and verifying all information, and I was assigned a listing code. But all I got was an error message when trying to activate the code, and the listing does not show up online. Despite several email messages to Support and Help, not even a courtesy response, 5 days and counting.

You cannot get a human on the 800 number listed. So, I even tried going through the whole process again with new email, etc. Same thing, I give up. I was going for the trial in anticipation of signing up for 6 months. What sort of successful business operates this way? From the other review I read online, my experience is consistent with that of many others. Don't waste your time.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- We have used Owners.com before a few years ago and had great success but now it is a completely different scenario for the worse. We signed up, paid $400 for the MLS listing, and had no trouble with the agent putting it on the MLS for us. The problem then comes after you list it.

We fully expected to have our contact name and phone number and receive calls from potential buyers as was our experience a few years ago. This was not the case. In fact, as we looked at our listing on Zillow, Realtor.com, Trulia, etc., we found random agents on our listing and never our contact info. We contacted the Owners agent and he said that there was nothing we could do to have our info on it and that these random agents pay for the ad space and essentially hijack our listing. Also, once the listing is on the MLS, we could not get a refund. Needless to say, they are misleading the sellers and like so many others found out the bad reputation they had too late.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- The ad will only show up on Realtor.com, not Zillow even though you're supposedly on the MLS. If a buyer doesn't have a realtor, they can't even see my contact information unless they're on the owners.com site. The only traffic I have gotten was from an ad on Craigslist. I asked my "agent" several times why this was with no response. Every question, revision, contact is like pulling teeth... having to follow up multiple times. Asked for a manager's contact information & still no response. Paid $400 for nothing.
