Homedepot.com is TROUBLE Complaint - Regret using this site
Wow, six weeks ago I placed an order with homedepot.com and cancelled it the next day through an email on their site. I got an automated response that said someone would contact me. No one did. So I tried calling but grew impatient on hold for 20 minutes. A week later I got an email announcing shipment of the items I cancelled. Again I send an email. Few days later package was dropped off on my step. I called my local store but they couldn't help me since they are separate entities. So I sat on hold for 2 hours & 15 minutes before someone answered. She said they would issue a return request and I would receive instructions in the mail within 5-7 days but I never did. So over the course of the next three weeks I call three more times and am told the same thing, even when I talk to supervisors. I have filed a complaint with the BBB but that takes weeks to resolve. I have searched for other phone numbers (corporate headquarters etc) but everyone redirects me back to this same department that gives the same lip service time after time. Meanwhile they still have my $150.
