Payless Shoesource Complaint - Paying customer, not a thief

Review by jherrera3 on 2001-12-20
TEHACHAPI, CALIFORNIA -- Today my wife was in the Tehachapi, CA store and was made to feel watched the entire time. At first they were in the same area of the store while she was looking and the sales rep. was putting some shoe away. But when my wife went to another area the clerk followed behind. Every shoe my wife tried on, the clerk watched. If my wife use a bench then got up, the clerk watched and moved the bench. She went around the coner and the clerk followed. It was to the point that my wife was going to leave had she not liked the shoes she found.

Funny how they think they are being so sneaky, but it is so obvious they are watching you. I like to make them sweat. I'll pick up stuff, turn my back to them. Reach in my coat pockets. Walk away. Life is short, you got to have fun with them.

You are in their property, they have the right to watch anyone, you have the right to shop somewhere else. Get over it!

Too bad-they need to stay in business too, and they can watch whoever they feel like watching.

At least they don't have video surveillance. I refuse to go to any store with video surveillance. I put an a request for video cameras to be removed from stores. Nothing agravates me worse than video cameras except for cameras on every single isle of the store!

Only somoene that is "up to something" will suspect they are being watched. I bet you and your wife were keeping an eye on the sales person so you know when to steal.
