Shiatsu massage Informative - Homedics Shiatsu Massager

Review by F. on 2006-07-15
FLORIDA -- I recently bought a Homedics shiatsu massager. What a wonderful item. I spent $2000 for a chiropractor, and he didn't do as much in a month and a half as this massager (which cost less than $100) did in a little over two weeks. I wish I had known about the shiatsu massager six months ago. It would have saved me a LOT of money and time.

The Shiatsu sounds good....does it do adjustments and manipulations also?

No, it does not do adjustments or manipulations. But there have been times when my back has hurt so much I could not stand straight. After 15 minutes of masage I was able to walk without pain. Also, by doing this at home it saved me the half hour drive back and forth to the chiropractor and the 45 minutes in his office. There were times I left his office in as much pain as when I arrived.

Chiropractors can be a wealth of information on nutrition and treatment of musculoskeletal complaints. But, SOME (as do many other physician disciplines) seem to have the business ethic of crack dealers...leading to a commonly cited riddle: "How many chiropractors does it take to change a lightbulb? One...but it will take 38 biweekly visits."
