Gateway Computers Compliment - Refund for Software- GateWay
I used my3cents to contact Gateway computers about the Windows XP they sold me as a system upgrade that would not work with any of the programs and hardware on the Gateway they had sold me.
I wanted a refund because they had called me in a telemarketing campaign to sell me the upgrade which I assumed would work with the computer they had previously sold me.
Within days of my letter being sent I was contacted by a Mr. Brown from Gateway by phone who was very sympathetic and who agreed that there were problems with XP and agreed to refund my purchase price and that I could keep the XP for perhaps future use when the bugs are worked out.
