Cox Communications Inc Complaint - Do they not communicate to eachother?
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA -- Last week I contacted Cox to have a technician come by and install a cable outlet on my wall for a flat panel televsion. The sales person did a good job of selling me on an upgrade to digital cable. I took today off of work for the install, and when the intaller showed up, he stated that the order said nothing about the cable outlet, just the digital upgrade. He stated he would not install the outlet. When I called Cox, all I got was "Sorry" and "We can have a morning technical come back next week." (Apparnetly only their AM technicians install outlets). A bit perturbed at this, I asked to speak to a manager. I was holding for 10 minutes. He finally came on and informed me that all he could do is credit me $20 off my current service. A small guesture, but far lees than what I would have made had I stayed at work today! Needless to say, I refused the service and am now calling Quest Communications!
