Best Buy Compliment - Exchanged my Xbox 360 with no problems.
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA -- I've been going to Best Buy for years without having any major problems. I had heard several complaints from friends of Best Buy's extended warranty, but I purchased it anyway for the Xbox 360 I purchased on Dec 23, 2006. A couple of days ago my Xbox 360 starting freezing and giving me the red ring of light which is very bad. I packed up the defective 360 and took it in. The employee that helped me was very polite and helpful. She gave me a new Xbox 360 and even offered to do a hard drive switch so I could keep my original data. I was expecting to put up a fight, so I was shocked when it was that easy. The next time I buy a high-priced item, I will definitely spend the $50 for the warranty.
