Home Depot Informative - Pro Desk, every time.
NEW JERSEY -- I've read over a few of these reviews, and from personal experience the BEST thing that you can do at the Home Depot is to use the PRO DESK, every time. If you're not a contractor, just call your "Company" bob's additions, joeys general contract, U.S.A. plumbing, etc. In Home Depot, in my area anyway, regular civilians are second-rate citizens. They will never check the status of your "Company." In addition, they'll keep detailed record of P.O's and receipts in your folder, and it doesn't cost anything. Best of all, you'll zip in and out on the busiest days, while others are waiting in long lines to be checked out. You'll also be able to cash in on frequent 10% off sales for "Pro-desk" contractors, without sacrificing all the regular civilian sales.
Your pro-desk employees will vary, of course, but mine in all 3 local home depots will "Take care of everything" for you, be it returns, ordering something for delivery, or helping you find something or plan a project. You will _NEVER_ have to stand in line for the "Customer service" desk- Although I admit sometimes you have to wait a bit to see the pro-desk people, in the big picture it's never as bad as the civilian side of the store; For me anyway.
