Att/Cingular Informative - Fraudulant billing - wireless

Review by dmac on 2006-08-02
CASTRO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA -- Att/Cingular are guilty of sending false bills and when you try to get info reps do not respond. My latest problem involves a bill of $300 vs my usual of $135-150 when I called( a nightmare in itself) the rep admited that my rollover minutes had been taken for no reason. There was nothing she could do about it a "committed specialist" would have to call me to resolve the issue. I have myself, wife & 2 daughters on lan and cannot afford to have them talk @ 30 c aminute. What att has done by not resolving the issue right away has denied me the use of the phones untill they decide to get back to me
While investigating the bill I discovered they also had been shafting me on my international calling plan.
I believe these people routinly over charge hoping the customer wont catch it and if they do then they try to wear you down. Either that or they are so completely incompetent and do not give a dam because most people are trapped in along term plan and are too busy to mess with their mistakes/thefts. I was on the phone at least 21/2 hours so far with no resolution. Although a longtime customer this is not the first time I have had problems with these thieves.
I know there are lawsuits against these people. And I am getting ready to file complaints with PUC
Any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks

As with all big companies, like AT&T, they really don't care about their customers anymore, they have become so big, that you are just a number. So many outsource their call centers, to other countries that Customer Service also sucks.
