Wal-Mart Complaint - Can't cancel my Internet service
Three years ago, I accepted a free 30 day trial of Wal-Mart's Internet dial up service. At the end of the trial, I asked to cancel the service and was told that it would be cancelled. The next month I noted that the full service charge was on my credit card and wrote from overseas asking that it be cancelled again. I was told that I did not have an account with Wal-Mart and they could do nothing. Next, I went to Bank of America and asked them to stop the monthly charges. Gusee what! They cannot cancel, Wal-Mart can't, and I can't. I stopped paying Bank of America and asked them to close my account. I am still receiving notices of charges from BOA. Any ideas of where to go from here?
