Bloomings Lawn Care Informative - Not providing service and rude when you complain

Review by plastic cutter on 2006-08-10
BRADENTON, FLORIDA -- Bloomings Lawn Service provides lawn care in the Sarasota-Bradenton, FL area. They do a very poor job and seem to use laborers who have no training in how to trim or mow.

I complained to them the other day and was told by the supervisor that "Fine! We will never touch your yard again!" Which would have been fine, but I am part of a 50-home neighborhood that unfortunately signed a contract with them several months ago.

IO found their work to be shoddy at best and their attitude toward customers to be shameful

You and the other 10 people should contact the home owners association. I am sure if 11 out of 50 people complain, the association will find a new lawn care company.

Oftentimes people think that some things are included in a landscaping contract, such as dead tree removal or palm frond removal, but they are not. I'd make sure that your complaint was legitimate before making too much of a stink. My condo complex uses Bloomings and we have no problems; they are excellent.

Bill - we did complain. About 20 of us. But Bloomings provides the head of the association with free wine...I am not kidding. So no changes have been made.

Yesterday, the Bloomings workers were urinating in bushes against the house across the street. (We have public restrooms at the pool which they are supposed to use) Please DO NOT use this firm! You can do a lot better.
