Churchs Fried Chicken Informative - Good tasting chicken

Review by IGKG2 on 2006-08-10
ALABAMA -- Okay, I just tried this chicken and loved it. So juicy and plump, and the service wasn't bad either. Not that impressed by their corn or bisquits but dang it, that chicken was really good. I am a huge fried chicken fan, so this is saying something. I am a loyal lover of another chicken franchise but Church's might make me switch.

Church's, as far as I know, doesn't torture the chickens before killing them. Workers at farms for FKC on the other hand have been videotaped scalding them alive, spray painting them in the face to be cruel, breaking their legs, and ripping their beaks off. There is no need to torture an animal one is intending to eat. If you have to have chicken, Church's is your best bet. If you guys have any questions, go to

I take it that Church's doesn't hire "bottom of the barrel" people either? Enjoy your fried chicken don't you? Ever tried cooking some at home? Anything?

I had Church's chicken ONE time and that was about 10 years was horrible! YUCK! I never went back again. I have people tell me they like Church's chicken but they are at different locations so it may have just be the one that I went to...but that experience kind of ruin any chance of me going to any of them. The chicken was over cooked (yes, a topic you don't hear much on here...overcooked chicken) the coating was burnt on the ends and hard. I would have enjoyed a plate of sand better.

Zork, typically when a site member comments about their restaurant experience, it has nothing to do with the fact that they do or donot cook or prepare meals at home. Are you that desperate to "comment" and disrupt the thread that you always have to mention "why don't you cook at home?" Better question still, "why don't YOU work at WORK?" (tr)

Sand is cruelty free!!! LOL ;)

I had the same experience many times DB, they are awful. Pirate, back to troll already? Stop being so concerned about me and "work" on yourself. (TIR) "...Work at work?" Nice!

Pirate, how come every time I stop by you're on a review bashing someone. Someone who posts "interesting" on 30 threads a day shouldn't be pointing fingers on who may or may not be desperate to comment. my3cents anyway.

That pirate fellow is very disturbing.

Slim, don't you have anything better to do than to troll after me constantly? For god's sake, find a new website to haunt.

the store's operation seems to be correct, basically we just have to work on syncronizing the speed & accuracy of
chicken orders by customers & chicken must be on the rack at all times, we do not & will not sell chicken past 45
