Site Mgr Me And My Buyer Are Making Arrangements To Come Up There, We Are Workin
SYLVA, NORTH CAROLINA -- I invested in the purchase of Unit #4 on April 10th directly with the seller. Several days later the park mgr was made aware of this. I have sold my property and now being told that the buyers have to be approved. I have spent over $3,000 in legal fees... the District Court of Jackson County ruled in my favor that I have not violated any rules yet the site mgr won’t renew my lease.
This is a sad precedent set for other investors in the park! And to think this all started when my leashed service dog was attacked and bitten from another resident’s dog that was so aggressive it broke free of its leash to harm my dog! When the owner of a dog knows that it is so aggressive that it needs to be zipped up in a baby stroller, then the dog should remain there.
If this manager or the next manager doesn’t like you then your entire investment is at stake! Does anybody have a potential buyer that they think the park mgr will approve? I’m hoping that some of the long term residence in the park may have family members wanting to buy. Although I have already received payment from my buyers, I will handle the extra cost for transfer of title, as they have told me they wouldn’t seek representation for discrimination of the lease.
