L.A. Computer Center Complaint - Stay Away from L.A. Computer Center!

Review by Ziggy321 on 2006-08-24
INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA -- Stay away from L.A. Computer Center! They are selling refurbished Hewlett Packard LaserJet printers as new! Then when they get caught they do everything possible NOT to rectify the problem. On 3/10/2006, their invoice number 0236026-IN, I purchased a HP LaserJet 4250DTN. Two months later it died. When I called HP to get it fixed I was told that it was way out of warranty! Refurbished! In case anyone is interested the serial number of the printer was JPCGL01465 and the HP case number was 3215202651. HP was shocked that anyone would try and sell refurbished printers as new. L.A. Computer Center sure did! To get then to rectify the situation is impossible! I have countless hours on the phone to them, they have promised the sun, moon and stars but as we speak I am out $1476.00! Stay away from L.A. Computer Center or you will be in for more pain and suffering then is imaginable!

Here is the latest update. They finally told me they would take the used printer back and issue a full refund. It was well known to them that I never wanted to deal with them again. I sent the printer back. When the ship trace showed that they had received it back I called them to follow up on their promise to issue a full refund. Much to my dismay they said they shipped me another printer instead! I told them I did not want another printer from them. I wanted, as promised, my full refund. They said “no problem” just refuse the new printer when it shows up and when we see it heading back we will issue a full refund. Another great lie. Now they are charging me $414.50 for freight and restock fees for refusing the new printer! These dudes have morals of a snake!
