Texas Office of the Attorney General Informative - Reprocession

Review by leilas303 on 2006-08-29
ARLINGTON, TEXAS -- As a consumer from your state, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident.

As a consumer from New York City, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident. The Company is located in Arlington, TX.

When my car was reprocessed I owe $8,683.00 to AmeriCredit. On April 25, 2006 I owed AmeriCredit $10,637.16. My check for August 1, 2006 for $50.00 bounced. I notified AmeriCredit that I was aware that my check did not clear. I received a letter from AmeriCredit dated August 22, 2006 that I now owe the company $12,384.08.

I cannot understand how so much interest was accrued in four months. AmeriCredit has added an extra $1,746.92 to my present balance.

Please contact me if you need more details regarding this incident.

As a resolution, I would like the following:

Stop the unfair business practices of this company known as AmeriCredit.

Please contact me if you need more details regarding this incident.

REPOSSESSION! Explain why you are only making $50.00 payments on the car and your payment history.
