Bank One Compliment - Great customer service
SCHAUMBURG, ILLINOIS -- Today I visited your branch on my lunch hour. I had to inquire about an account I had that should have been closed months ago and get the below balance fees refunded. I expected to use my entire lunch hour for this but instead, it only took 20 minutes! I expected a headache and instead left a very happy and satisfied customer!
I was helped by John Hayward. He greeted me with a smile and wasted no time getting my accounts straightened out and appropriately refunded. No hassle, no lack of customer service enthusiasm and no headache!
Additionally, I had a checking account that had my ex-husband's name as joint tenant on it. While his name had been removed from ownership long ago, the statement mailings continued to include his name. Other representatives in the past have told me I had to call Bank One's 800 number or go into a main branch (I had been to the branches in your Dominick's locations.) They all told me I'd have to close the account just to get his name off the mailings. Well, it took John about one second to fix this for me! And he made sure to show me his computer screen indicating that my ex-husband's name had been removed from the mailing address. Everything I needed to have done, got done above and beyond what I had expected.
I really appreciate being able to walk into your branch and trust that there will be someone there who knows what they are doing. Thank you for renewing my confidence in customer service. If possible, please give John a pat on the back for his great work!
