Kraft Foods Complaint - Aspartame (Nutra Sweet)
LIBERTY, TEXAS -- I am a label reader. I very carefully check ingredient labels on the food products I buy. I am very upset. Last evening I stood in my local grocery store looking at the label on a package of General Foods International Coffees. After carefull examination I decided it was safe to buy, I have a terrrible reaction to aspartame and avoid it in all the food I can. My daughter gets excrusciating headaches from it, too. I purchased a box of Cappuccino Cafe Mocha $2.19. I decided this morning before using it to call the number on the box to double check. Much to my surprise and dismay, this product DOES contain aspartame! Now I need to go back to the grocery store and return it. I will not use it and I probably wont trust the labels on the Kraft products in my store anymore.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I want an explanation why it is not listed in the ingredients. I also want a list of food products by this company that contain aspartame. I also want an apology.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
